FoodCASE: Advance users in collaboration with EuroFIR AISBL and Premotec GmbH 

1. Aim of training

Morning sessions

  • Compilers will get familiar with FoodCASE
  • Compilers will practise how to search and find information in FoodCASE
  • Compilers get to know work flow and most important functionalities of FoodCASE
  • Compilers will practise how to input new references, foods and values (incl. duplicate and borrow function)

Afternoon sessions

  • Aggregate foods (incl. fatty acid conversion and borrow function)
  • Calculate recipes
  • Change or delete entries
  • Re-computed/recalculate
  • Perform mass operations

– Functionalities of the Admin Client of FoodCASE, and how to …

  • Manage user profiles

  • Manage database versions
  • Run a data quality analysis
  • Export and import data
  • Perform basic data quality checks (within the compiler client and with the data quality analysis tool)
  • File bugs in the Redmine system (optional)

3. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please bring your laptop. You will need Java for FoodCase-Risk. To test if Java is installed on your laptop, you can use Oracle’s website: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp, click on the ‘Verify Java version’ button and allow the tool to do all tests.
